Honor Flight

The Red River Valley Motorcyclists of Grand Forks, ND, are honored to join forces with the Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN in a powerful partnership rooted in respect, gratitude, and community service. As two dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, we share a common mission: to recognize and celebrate the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans. Through this collaboration, we proudly support the annual flights that will take veterans from Eastern North Dakota and Western Minnesota to Washington, D.C., free of charge, to visit the memorials built in their honor. Together, we ride and rally to ensure these heroes receive the recognition they deserve.

About Our Partnership with the Veterans Honor Flight

Red River Valley Motorcyclists partner with the Veterans Honor Flight of MN/ND to raise awareness and funds for flights that bring veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit their service memorials. Through escorted rides, community events, and sponsor support, we help turn gratitude into action. 

  • Funds raised at our Spirit of America Bike & Car Show go directly to Veterans Honor Flight of MN/ND.

Veterans Honor Flight is a national organization. Our local Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN chapter is a 501c3 nonprofit that honors our veterans by providing no-cost trips to Washington, D.C. so they can visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice. Listed below is an at-a-glance view of some of the things we do to support and recognize the memories of our veterans.

    "My dad Leon was on last spring's honor flight and he cannot stop talking about the trip and what it meant to him. It is groups like yours that make unmeasurable contributions to those that served to keep this nation free. I am not a member, but I started to help sell raffle tickets last year and again this year just because of what it sponsors, the honor flight."
